The Machine Learning Summer School will be held at Sardegna Ricerche in Pula.
Pula is a charming seaside village of strong agricultural and fishing traditions located about 25 km southwest of Cagliari in the Italian region Sardinia. The area around Pula is renowned for the beautiful Pixinamanna Forest in the Sulcis Regional Park and the wonderful coastal landscape. Of considerable historical and archaeological interest is the ancient town of Nora, located only a few km away.
How to reach Pula from Cagliari Elmas airport
- By bus
We did not arrange a private bus service from the airport to Pula.
The public bus system is run by the ARST company. To reach Pula you need to take two buses. The first bus connects the airport to the ARST bus station in downtown Cagliari (travel time of 10 minutes). At the ARST bus station, you need to take another ARST bus for Pula (travel time of 50 minutes). Note that the last run from Cagliari town to Pula is at 20:35. Tickets have to be purchased before boarding.

There is no train connection between Cagliari Elmas airport and Pula.
- By taxi
A taxi transfer from the airport to Pula costs approximatively 100 €. Taxi and minibus for small groups can be booked at tourshuttle.

How to reach Sardegna Ricerche from Pula
Sardegna Ricerche is located at 9.5 km from the centre of Pula. We arranged a private bus service to take the participants to the research centre in the morning and back to Pula in the afternoon.
The bus pick-up point in the morning will be near Banco di Sardegna (which is in Via Lamarmora 9, 09010 Pula (CA)), in a small square with an ARST bust stop. The bus will leave at 8:20 am.
